SPRINGS ADMISSION POLICY
Applicants for admissions to TSES Manjeri are invited to visit the school for an initial overview of the school and the Springs educational system.
Non - Selective Admissions Policy
The Springs Educational System is highly academically oriented without being highly selective. The criterion for acceptance in a class is academic attainment, not age. Although age acts as a limiting factor, it is acceptable to find a two year age range in the same class. In general, any student willing to learn is accepted.
There are no academic requirements for acceptance into Kindergarten (3 to 5 Years of age). Prospective students at these levels are interviewed; they must be able to speak and follow simple instructions and be toilet-trained. All other prospective students take diagnostic tests in the core subjects. These tests help to determine if the student has attained the minimum expected standard for each subject. The school makes final placement decisions but it should be noted that the school has various strategies at its disposal to bring a student to the required level. For e.g. there is an option of attending summer school, or perhaps extra classes in a subject. Special academic support is taken very seriously by the school.
The admission process is intended to be personal and informative for all prospective families. School Tour: Families are encouraged to visit the school for a tour of the campus and talk with our admissions staff. Appointments can be made by contacting us via...
